After five years of teaching middle school band, I felt like I was drowning in the day-to-day monotony of teacher life. I was burnt out and tired of spending most of my year in a windowless classroom. I loved the actual teaching and building relationships with my students. And I looked forward to finding solutions to the crazy challenges that the middle schoolers would bring to the band room every day. But I was craving flexibility and the ability to be in charge of my own life.

This is how Emily Wilson Virtual Services came to be.
